Week 5: Snowy Owl

Due to the snow this week and dreams of owls lately, here's a snowy owl in a somewhat snow-like skyish background.  Not the best painting, but I'm experimenting with blotting the paint instead of smoothing it out.

Week Four: Lady Cardinal

My painting for week 4 of my Innate Image challenge:  A female cardinal surrounded by Rowan branches.  One unfortunately hit our window earlier in the week, and I felt like paying tribute to her.

Week 3: Pony and Maddie

These cute things were sun-bathing on a hill and I thought the scene was THE thing to paint.
